According to the CDC, 1 in 4 adults experience a fall each year, often resulting in serious injuries such as fractures or head trauma. To help mitigate fall risks in the home, the City of College Park is offering a rebate of up to $150 to College Park residents over the age of 62 for the purchase and/or installation of a grab bar in their home.

Older adults with low to moderate income can receive help with their taxes through services offered by the AARP Foundation. Assistance is provided at no cost and helps individuals navigate the tax filing process. To learn more about tax support or to get connected with services, call the AARP Foundation at 888-227-7669.
